I designed and created this site to display some of my photographs i've taken. Photography is a new hobby for me and i've only really dived into since January of 2008. Now that the weather has warmed up i can take some small trips thru the woods to see what i can find. The design of this site was geared obviously towards the the outdoors. Going out and walking around looking for things to photograph is my way or relaxing. Enough about this boring stuff, I hope everyone enjoys these pictures as much as i've enjoyed taking them.

In the last 7 months i've owned 3 digital cameras. The first one was my Fuji Finepix 3.2 MP. I had this one for over 5 years and it took great pictures. Unfortunately it started to go and it wouldn't turn on all the time. So i broke down and bought a Canon PowerShot IS. It was a really nice camera with a good zoom but as i thought about it i could have spent $150 more and got a DSLR. So i sold my "old" new camera and bought a Canon Digital Rebel XT. I already owned 2 lenses for the 35mm Canon Rebel so i only had to buy the body. My current lenses are a 18-55mm and a 100-300mm zoom lens. They do a really nice job for not being made for digital cameras. I'm currently looking at getting either a macro lens or a 2X telephoto extender. This would be nice since it would make my 100-300mm a 200-600mm. And who can forget the trusty tripod. This is a must have for any photographer, especially for those shots that require 1/125 sec shutter speeds or under. With the tripod you won't get that camera shake and blur.

My main focus is nature photography. There is something about walking thru woods looking for that perfect shot Plus you get out and enjoy what nature has to offer you, unbridled beauty. But you will also get some abstract pictures that i find interesting. I haven't figured out the format that i will use to post my photos but you will find them on the right hand side when they are uploaded. This should be done in about a weeks time. Check back around 6/20 or so and everything should be up and working!
